Barefeet Naturist Resort

The Barefeet Naturist Resort, Bangkok, Thailand – Review

Barefeet Natural Resort, Thailand from Naturist Girl on Vimeo.

Imagine walking through the hot, crowdy streets of Bangkok, Thailands capital. The road is like a never-ending river of cars, motorbikes, and tuk-tuks with food stands on its banks. Now imagine that just one step through the door can take you from that hot urban jungle into a nudist paradise. And that is precisely what Barefeet Naturist Resort is – a nudist paradise in the heart of Bangkok.

Location

Barefeet is located in the northeast of the Bangkok. When I landed at the international airport Suvarnabhumi, I immediately took a taxi to the resort. On the resort’s website is an address that I have printed at home, and hand over to the driver so I spared myself from explaining where I want to go. The drive from the airport to the resort is about 40 minutes long depending on the traffic jam.

About the resort

Barefeet Naturist Resort is the first resort that opened its doors to the nudists/ naturist in Bangkok. Owners, Gregers and Dao are amazing people that have not only opened a first nudist /naturist resort in the capital but also started the “Naturist Association Thailand” and with that spread the nudism in Thailand.

Barefeet is a small resort perfect for getting away from the city rush. You can come as a day guest and be clothes-free for a couple of hours, or you can stay in one of the five rooms. The resort is divided into two separate properties, and you can come from one to another through a small hallway.

What you can find in the resort

In the first property, there is an open kitchen with dining room, green garden with a smaller pool, relax area and upstairs are rooms with a big terrace. This was originally the entire Barefeet Naturist Resort. But, Gregers and Dao felt that something is missing, and they wanted to offer an even better experience to their guests.

In the very beginning of 2018 they opened a second property, and instead of using that place for placing more rooms, they wanted to provide a bigger place where their guests could hang around and relax. There you can find a reception, nice big swimming pool, sauna, massage room, hot tub, gym, and a bar with dining/hanging around area.

Rooms

Rooms are not large, but they are big enough to feel cozy and to be honest, you probably won’t spend much of your the time in a room anyway, at least I wasn’t. They are located on the first floor, and there is a lovely big terrace with a table and chairs in front of every room if you want to relax there. Inside every room is a king size bed with a mattress so good that you wouldn’t want to get up in the morning. Rooms are also equipped with TV, aircon and a fan. There is a nice bathroom with a sink, toilet, and a great hot shower.

Accommodation and more

When you finally manage to say goodbye to your amazing bed and get up in the morning, breakfast will be served on the ground floor at the open kitchen/dining room. What I loved the most about the breakfast, besides delicious food that Dao was making every morning, is that all of the guests as well as the owners sit together to the table and have breakfast like a big family, eating and chatting.

All the food and drinks are served on the table so you can eat what you want and how much you want. You could spend all morning just enjoying in breakfast and coffee while talking with new friends. After breakfast, I was always spending my mornings by the pool, swimming and soaking the sun while reading and relaxing with my second cup of coffee.

Delicious food & amazing people

After all that activities you will probably be hungry as hell. I was delighted with food in the restaurant! I love Thai food, and here it was perfect, spicy just enough that I felt that my lips are burning but not so much that it would kill all the other flavors in the meal. Of course, if you want your food to be spicier, or not spicy at all, all you have to do is to tell that to the Ak. Ak is the sweetest receptionist, and he will organize everything for you – from the things inside the resort to organizing trips and calling a taxi, he will bring your food, answer all of your questions and he will do all of that always with the smile.

Of course, Gregers, and Dao will always, when they have time, happily sit with you and have a chat, so you will feel that you are very welcome. To be completely honest, I felt not only welcomed in the Barefeet Naturist Resort, I really felt like a part of a big family.

Disclaimer: I was invited as a guest in The Barefeet Naturist Resort, but all opinions in this post are my own.
